Capital One Credit Card
The Most Popular Capital One Credit Cards
Though there are many types of Capital One credit cards, the ones that are most popular are Capital One’s rewards cards. Users must have an excellent credit score to qualify for all of these cards except for the No Hassles Rewards card, which requires an average credit score to qualify. Here is how Capital One defines its credit ratings.
People with Excellent Credit are those who satisfy all the following three conditions:
- They should not have been more than 60 days late on payment of a credit card installment, loan, or medical invoice in the previous year.
- They should never ever have declared bankruptcy or ever defaulted on a loan.
- They should have owned a credit card or a loan for 3 years or more and their credit limit should have exceeded $5,000.
People with Average Credit are those who have experienced any one of the following situations:
- They have been late by more than 60 days paying on a credit card installment, loan, or medical invoice in the previous year.
- They have through bankruptcy or had a loan go into default in the preceding 5 years.
- They have a limited credit history and that may be because they own a credit card or a loan for less than 3 years.
Now that the difference between excellent and average credit is clear, here are the most popular Capital One credit cards:
